Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday, November 27, with Cyber Monday on November 30. It's the week when the most Mac app developers cut their prices, but the offers are spread across developer sites, newsletters, and social posts. The sites below collect them so you don't have to.

Some of these are year-round deal sites, and some are community lists that come back to life each November. As of mid-October 2026, several still show last year's deals, so treat any code you find as a lead and confirm it on the developer's site before you pay.

Quick Picks

  • Mac apps only: Apps.Deals.
  • Curated indie apps during sale events: Indie App Sales.
  • Mac apps plus SaaS and AI tools: Rare Big Deal, dealhunt, and Tony Dinh's GitHub list.
  • Developer and security tools: the twf-nikhila and InfoSec GitHub lists.

1. Apps.Deals

Apps.Deals lists Mac apps that are free for a limited time, discounted, or giving away promo codes. You can search, filter by category and by pricing model (one-time purchase or subscription), and sort the list. Each deal is reviewed before it's listed, and promo codes can be claimed once per person, so one visitor can't take them all. In November, the Black Friday page groups the seasonal offers; it's already titled "2026 Black Friday Deals on Mac apps".

To hear about new deals, use the newsletter, the RSS feed, or @AppsDeals_ on X.

2. Indie App Sales

Indie App Sales runs event-based sales of apps by independent developers, with discounts offered only during its events. Discounts may come as in-app purchases, promo codes, or special links, so read each app's instructions. Between events the listing is empty; when we checked in October 2026, it showed no apps and no announced dates for a Black Friday 2026 edition. Bookmark it and check back closer to the week.

3. Rare Big Deal

  • Best for: a big mixed list of Mac, iOS, SaaS, AI, and web app deals
  • Where to browse: rarebigdeal.com

Rare Big Deal calls itself the "RBD 2026 edition" and focuses on Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and lifetime deals. You can browse by category (including macOS apps and developer tools), staff picks, a Top 25, and a "Last Chance" list, or follow its RSS feed. Developers submit deals through GitHub and listings are accepted automatically, so expect a large list rather than a hand-picked one. In October 2026, many cards still showed 2025 coupon codes.

4. dealhunt

  • Best for: browsing deal cards with discount percentages and codes
  • Where to browse: dealhunt.cc

dealhunt is a community deal feed for software, with Pro and Featured sections at the top and cards showing the discount and coupon code. Developers can add their own offers with its Submit Deal button. When we checked in October 2026, its Pro deals still showed 2025 Black Friday codes, so check dates before using one.

5. GitHub: Awesome Black Friday & Cyber Monday (Tony Dinh)

Tony Dinh, the developer behind TypingMind, maintains this list. The README says deals are reviewed by him with help from his brother, and the list is limited to software, apps, and SaaS (no courses or books). Categories include developer macOS apps and productivity desktop apps. As of mid-October, the README still shows the 2025 edition and asks visitors to bookmark it for 2026, so expect the update closer to November.

6. GitHub: Black Friday Deals for macOS and iOS (Marius Landwehr)

Marius Landwehr's list covers Black Friday deals on macOS and iOS software and books, grouped into categories such as development, utilities, productivity, video, and graphics. A legend marks discounts under 50% (💰) and 50% or more (💸). It's published as a static site through GitHub Pages, and contributors add deals by pull request. The README still says 2025 for now.

7. GitHub: Awesome Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals (twf-nikhila)

Maintained by Nikhil Agrawal, this list covers apps (including macOS), developer tools, AI tools, SaaS, no-code tools, plugins, and more. You can subscribe for email updates, and developers who don't use GitHub can submit a deal through a linked form. The 2025 edition is still up.

8. GitHub: InfoSec Black Friday (0x90n)

This list sticks to information security deals. The maintainer says they vet each listing, remove dodgy or unverifiable deals, and warn that discounts over 90% may be inflated. Prices are listed in USD with end times in UTC. Its FAQ says most deals start around November 20 and run until Cyber Monday. Useful if your Mac work includes penetration testing, threat hunting, or security research.

How to Get the Most From Black Friday

  • Make a buy list first. Decide which apps you actually need before the week starts, so a 60% discount doesn't talk you into a tool you'll never open. Our guide to buying Mac apps on sale without wasting money walks through it.
  • Check what the discount covers. For subscriptions, see whether the price applies only to the first year and what the renewal costs. Our renewal audit guide has a checklist.
  • Check compatibility. Make sure the app supports your macOS version and your Mac's chip before you buy.
  • Compare with a subscription bundle. If several apps on your list are on Setapp, one subscription might cost less than buying each app. See our Setapp alternatives post for the trade-offs.
  • Save your license keys. Store keys and receipts in a password manager or a notes app so you can find them when you move to a new Mac.

Catch these apps on sale: many paid Mac apps run discounts at least once a year, most often around Black Friday. Subscribe to the Apps.Deals newsletter to hear when the deals arrive.

Note: First published in November 2025 and updated in October 2026. Site details are current as of October 2026; most of these sites post their Black Friday 2026 deals closer to the week itself, so verify each offer on the developer's site before buying.
